the czech one is discontinued something completely unrelated to bikes on that site and the polish one and german ones do not ship to CZK/SVK
// I guess I will order from the trail.camp website to a mailbox in germany and reship from there to slovakia, that seems to be the most cost effective solution. should be around 14€ for the oil plug and 6€ for shipping to DE and 5€ for reshipping to SVK.

Hello, do you also have the oil plug for sale? that is an excellent shipping cost compared to kindernay
As I said I have few spare and can sell you one. Only caviat I am on vacation now returning on July 4th. So if you can wait, I can ship it out to you on July 5th. If you can wait, just end me your mailing address in dm and I will give you final shipping cost and total for your confirmation.

I'm having some difficulty shifting into 7th gear on my Watt Wagons Hydra. 1 through to 6 shift fine, but when it comes to shifting into 7th gear it feels like the shifter is at the end of its travel. I can get into 7th, but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries.
Anyone know if there is a way to adjust the shifter?

I don't think has anything to do with shifter - its design is simple and efficient, and there is no difference on which gear you are shifting. How old is your hub? Last time I got shifting issues with mybhub it ended up with RMA and replacement.

Could you be needing to bleed the hydraulic circuit in case some air got in?
It is a fairly easy process, with two seringe and tubing

Im pretty sure I found out why I'm having shifting problems. I just found out my hub is leaking fluid.

Looks like my second Kindernay VII (which I received as warranty replacement) start having same issues as original one just after 2.5k miles :(
The first symptom is when you stop feeling "click" while switching to specific gears (in my case - 6th) and gear engagement becomes unreliable. Based on my experience next thing - gear will stop engaging at all...

Anyone had/has similar issues? How many miles you have on your Kindernay?

I start looking into Rohloff hubs already... Even if I like it a lot, I expect much more than 2-3k miles before failure...

Read this https://www.emtbforums.com/threads/dengfu-e22-frame-thread.26880/page-37#post-439706

It might be the shifter issue. If it is it should be fixable.

You might want to look on Kindernay XIV gear hub also. Kindernay XIV has exactly the same amount of gears and gears ratios for each gear as Rohloff. So maybe Kindernay XIV is a copy of Rohloff internally and may have the same reliability and performance as Rohloff. You also already have installed shifter for Kindernay which works for both XIV and VII so it is less work to install Kindernay XIV than Rohloff.

Unfortunately it is not, since I have issue with shifting to only particular gear (and only shifting up from 5 to 6, works fine so far when shifting from 7 to 6). So it is not the shifter issue unfortunately...

On the ride, before I noticed the leak, the hub was reluctant to shift into 7th gear. It got worse during the ride and eventually I wasn't able to shift into 7th gear.
A couple of hours after the ride I checked on the bike and found the leak.

Cycle Monkey distributes the new 3x3 gear hub rated for 240 Nm

With Kindernay going out of business is there anyway to get some replacement parts? I took my bike with me to thailand, but somehow the torque arm and cap that goes over the torque arm went missing.

Ask dealers, they might have some old stock parts. Cycle Monkey ( https://cyclemonkey.com/kindernay ) is a Kindernay dealer in the USA.

But do not place order on their website on anything before asking them and getting response if they have the items in stock and ready to ship. I ordered a Kindernay SWAP Cage with some Oil on their website two months ago and still did not receive the items and they even did not respond on my email regarding this order.

I would not order anything from them right now, if they are in bankruptcy procedure, nothing will ship

I have some extra parts I might want to spare with since hub lifecycle is closing its end. Probably other owners have some extra as well and can help you...

Thanks man. Ali Express has enough for me to maintain performance parts for my bike.
New .!!!
