Just for fun...

Finally, I get to do something every male cyclist dreams of and no wife allows — I get to keep my bike in the kitchen!

Of course, only because she had no choice, as we had to set up a temporary kitchen in the garage while we remodel. Sadly, it's bigger than the kitchen we're rebuilding.

If you too have suffered through a remodel you didn't want or need, I hope you'll join me in my class-action lawsuit against HGTV (the Home & Gardens channel) for infecting my wife's brain with irresistible urges leading directly to this project. Even though we both said "Never again!" after each of the last 3 remodels!

Seeking big-time damages for loss of retirement funds, mental duress, and worst of all, precious riding time lost to waiting for and babysitting contractors.

Of course, she feels the same way about EBR and GCN. But for what HGTV's cost me this time alone, I could have had half a dozen really nice new ebikes plus the bike of my dreams — that $16,000 replica of the Colnago Pogacar held high on the final podium at the 2024 Tour de France!

My wife's white 2020 Mercedes wagon just sent her an email that the battery's low.

What the heck? My black 2004 350Z never calls, never writes. After 18 years, I thought we had something. Sniff.

Never mind the porta-potty behind the Z. We're remodeling. Asked the contractor if we could add a new bathroom to the job. He said, "It's a little late for that, but I'll see what I can do." It arrived the next day.

After everything you've done for it... the shame...

Curious, has it been sitting an unusually long time?

I know newer Sprinter owners that get "love messages" in less than a week. I've never got one from my 2020, but drive it at least every 2 weeks.

Oh, s*it! Someone lit the toilet paper on fire. Maybe put a lock on it and give the key to the contractor.
