Interestingly, I have my older laptop from 2019 now running Windows 11 even if the latter was introduced in October 2021. Microsoft offered a free upgrade, which I did at that time.
I have 2 computers that are Windows 7 vintage. Bought 2 copies of 10, installed one and haven't done the other yet. Went to upgrade to 11 and the hardware isn't compatible. These computers do everything I need (most intensive is photography) very well; hardware is obsolete due to software.

And you are not afraid to use either the 7 or 10, unlike Charge :)

The reason I'm using the latest 11 is I need to be compatible with my customers.
