The E3 Peak is using the same motor as the E3 Dash which is a speed pedelec, a 73 Nm mid-drive motor. Something to keep in mind is that there are No motor inhibitors or shift detection on the E3 Peak.

Yes you are correct the E3 Peak is not a speed pedelec, but it is using the same motor as the E3 dash, which is.

How much does the boost button add-on cost? Also My wife has the new Vibe and it is much noisier than my rear drive Dash.

Boost button is $50, according to several of Court's reviews. Definitely down in the noise level of a new ebike purchase. Court explained that it plugs into the display.

The 2015 E3 Peak is a speed pedelec (28 mph) and has a throttle, the 2016 is not a speed pedelec (20 mph) and has no throttle.

According to Izip support, they stuck with the 2015 configuration for 2016. Are you sure your answer is definitively correct? They admit their website is incorrect....
