Acapulco Gold,is some badass weed! [no sticks and stems and things you don't need]

I totally get the feeling - after a few weeks on my Vado, I caught myself looking for excuses to ride, like running errands that didn’t even need doing. It’s funny how it becomes more than just transport. I’ve had similar "addicted" phases with other stuff too, like experimenting with hhcp distillate for a while, and I think it's just our brains chasing good vibes in whatever form they come.

I smoke a pack a day and nothing replaces that urge.

If I ride without having a puff of Vado, I feel guilty because I just wanna go home.
I get bored and don't enjoy myself.
ordered some Delta 8 gummy vados, time will tell how that works maybe they will staunch these persistent headaches,my new ride should arrive any day now.

ordered some Delta 8 gummy vados,

I don't like how edibles take almost an hour to kick in, and then the buzz lasts about twice as long.

Smoking it takes just a few minutes to work, so it's easier to dose.

My brother-in-law worked with a guy that bought a bag of "Cannibis" gummys at the drug store.
He couldn't seem to get stoned and ended up eating the whole bag, then got the shits. 😄

He didn't know that the gummys at drug stores are CBD and not THC.
He needed to go to a dispensary to get the Fun Gummies. 😁

One guy said that getting stoned doesn't make the pain go away, it just takes your mind off it.

The Cannibus gummies that you get over the counter (at least in the US) are usually all CBD. No THC is in there so you won’t get stoned, but you’ll get nice and relaxed.

Like prescription drugs can have varying results between users, edibles may have little to no effect. Depends on users weight, metabolism, diet, etc… I have some edibles that won’t work on my wife, but work for me.

Also, some edibles need a “host”. If you have edibles that don’t work, try taking it with peanut butter. The peanut butter will aide the THC, in the edible, to flow in to your system. As opposed in and out, right through it.

This thread was intended to stay up as humor for three-days and maybe half-a-page. It is going on three-years and over twelve pages. And the irony! During that time I rode a new Vado for one-year, for free. Now the term, meant only as a one-off joke has taken on a whole life of its own. I am not into throttle bikes but made one with a torque sensor that can smoke Vados this week and delivered it yesterday. The guy is supper happy and I was able to hide the wires so most people inspecting the bike think that I am 5hitting them when I tell them it is electric. Then I turn it on, lift the rear, and hit the throttle while their jaws drop.

Pics please
The guy took a couple of photos yesterday afternoon and said he would send them to me. He is a full-time electrician with 1.5 hours of commute on each end, so maybe over the weekend. Yesterday he said he would ride it until sunset. It is a red trek MTB. The motor had been sitting in my workshop for 18-months. I was thinking cargo mom. But new better motors have come out since. I am glad it found a home. I hate to ever have a zip tie on a bike. I had to on this one, so I used red ones that disappeared.

Uma started the thread before he started working for Specialized, and only later he could ride a Vado. I still cannot understand why he needed to secure the battery with a zip tie when nobody of us Vado riders does it. Perhaps too much marijuana :)

Because his battery might fall out and catch his shorts on 🔥.

Even with a brand new Specialized and a NDA, I'd rather not burn my Polish Sausage off,..

That bike with a throttle required a wheel magnet speed sensor. Those speed pick-ups attach with two zip ties to the chain stay, and that is why I used matching ones. I also had to use a wire to the display that is wider than I can route through frame to accommodate the throttle, so it had to be routed externally, it is largely invisible, but secured with matching zip ties. Again, I do not like any zip ties at all on my builds. But I was able to make the guy happy and get rid of a new motor that was sitting in box for 18-months. Battery mounts bolt to frames.

Cool.

I've only seen one picture of your bikes, and I'd love to see more.
If you want, I am about 35 miles north of the Golden Gate. Look on a popular maps app for eBikes when zooming in there just on the east side of the freeway, and you can see some customer posted photos.
Check out the messy wires on this one; yes that is electric. See the glowing display? The wire from the battery to the motor emerges from the back of the seat tube at the top tube. No zip ties were sacrificed. She is small and just wanted to get down the San Francisco hill to work and back with a big climb. Small battery, big gears, small powerful mid-drive.
