IRS is going after “Non-PC” churches?

Nonprofits can and do legally engage in political advocacy. It cannot cross over to lobbying. The problem is when this rule is weaponized to quiet the dissenting voices. We have all seen political advocacy cross the line on both sides, but the rules are not always applied evenly, to the point that many here see political advocacy as not allowed.

The IRS took away the tax free status of the Sierra Club many years ago to punish them for advocating for a greener planet. Going back to Ronald Reagan when the FtC ruled that religious broadcasts qualified as public service information the quacks have jumped on the gravey train to get gullible people watching TV to send them money for "God" whoever she may be. There are clearly for profit operations that pay no income taxes and so they are being subsidized by everyone regardless of their own faith or beliefs.

As of this morning, over two weeks after the original post, the fraudulent language on the donation page is still up. So this was all just another grift.

That settles the matter as regards this group of dishonest hypocrites. I am always suspicious of any who wear the cross, crescent or star of David on their sleeve. Anyone who tries to use common religious background to build trust automatically has a steeper and longer hill to climb with me.

You guys are funny . They aren't going after the type of Churches you're crying about . They are Going after Fire and Brimstone hell is Coming . Believe the Gospel and be saved Evangelical churches . Yah just don't get it do you ? Same for Canada is Burning Evangelical Churches . But in Canada is worse then America is right now . I know most of you don't believe this stuff. But look at who they are going after . From My prospective Satan already is in the dishonest Church . He doesn't care about them as he has them . He's going after Churches who are true to Christ. Wait and see they won't go after teh Benny Hinn types . Or the Mosques or Hindu and Budda Shrines . They won't go after the Catholic Church .
What they fail to see is that Jesus said I will build my Church (WHICH IS PEOPLE) And the gates of hell will not prevail against it . If they take tax status away God will just provide more money .
But you guys really need to be more concerned about What Iran is doing and How America is pretty much telling Israel they are on their own . But don't mess with IRAN. Israel is saying with all due respect . We are going to do what we need to do .
That's what you should be discussing IRAN . Because We are first on Iran's List
