So I see a used one listed though it is S/M and not M/L. S/M is for up to 5’7” and I am 5’9”. I do have an old non-electric Specialized TriCross, a great bike and super lite. I just started riding again after too many years not doing so and when purchased I was between frame sizes and got the smaller one and it seems to have worked out ok for me. Would figure I might need to buy a handle bar riser/extender that pivots if I get the S/M size.

Anyone know if I can make due with this S/M size without real issues?

Aventon might not have the best customer service after the sale, guess too buried with orders, though hoping if priced right this used Aventon Level might work ok for me. It would not be a daily driving, just something to ride for the battery effect really. I will be 64 this summer and body is slowing down. Only doing 15 miles a week M/W/F on the tricross. Don’t know it the original warranty is transferable…guessing not though will check their site. The Level seems like it could be a fair e-bike. A bit heavy, and uncertain how helpful it is to have the front shock though tire size seems a good in-betwen size width wise. I would have no plans to go crazy riding this in lots of off road situations. Maybe would add a suspension seat post to it if purchased.

Thanks in advance and ride safe plus stay safe.

The warranty isn't transferable between owners, unfortunately. However, the majority of the components have a one year warranty, with just the frame and fork having a lifetime warranty, so depending on the age of the used bike you're buying, the usefulness of the warranty may already be null.

I think it'd probably be fine with the extender and a taller seatpost. Worst case scenario, your knees aren't getting a full extension and you're not as upright as you'd like to be (accidentally aero?)
