I had never seen such a seat before, but I think that it's what I want to ride on?

I ride no-hands most of the time, and I noticed that I can push either leg against the bike frame to help me steer so I think I can do without the seat horn and still have control?

It should work with a little practice, but it's tough to do on a step thru frame.

Actually, I shouldn't need the seat at all,..

I just need knee pads and better gloves. 😂

I would like a good report good, bad or other wise, on this seat as I have been looking at it real hard. I have another seat just like that, but without the holes,
just about the same seat...

That saddle seems exactly backwards from the prevailing wisdom about saddles, so it is either an amazing idea or a terrible idea.

I have a sqlab saddle that has almost no padding. But because it's the right width for my sit bones and my riding position, it's very comfortable. It supports me exactly where that seat has holes.

BTW I think those front "spring" elements are supposed to double as a horn. If there's nothing to keep you centered on the seat it will not be comfortable because your body won't stay lined up with the features they designed.

All I know is that I've always hated bicycle seats, especially the old ten-speed seats.

I've always been way more comfortable on a motorcycle seat and I'm always most comfortable in my big comfy chair.

I figure that my butt will fit into my new seat so I can grip it better to steer.
I'm always rolling off my current seat when I lean to steer.

I've got a pretty cushy ride right now.
A gell seat cover on top of a Selle Royale spring seat, mounted to a Suntour ncx seatpost all mounted to a full suspension ebike.

I have no time for people who ride no hands

As has been mentioned here many times, bike seats are personal items. One size does not fit all and what works for some, may not for everyone.
Many here, including myself, have tried a great number of saddles before finding the right "fit".

I even tried a professional fit at a local LBS, which in my case was a waste of money. The seat they recommended was one of the most painful I tried. They did however, allow me to return it. I eventually adopted the trial and error method. I ordered on line from sites that offered a return window and sent back the ones that didn't work out.

Take saddle recommendations with a grain of salt because you'll never know until you try it. The fact that there are so many different butts out there, is the reason for the huge number of saddles on the market.

I used to ride no hands as a kid but as I grew older, I discovered I can shift some of the weight off my butt and onto the bars. I find padded riding gloves and a suspension stem help manage any wrist pain. That way, I can strike a balance, and shift weight for the most comfortable ride.

I have had this seat for about a couple months now.
I find it extremely comfortable, easy to ride long 40+ miles per trip.
I love the adjustable width of the seat, after I finally dialed it in.

Of all the seats I have tried, I would rate this #1, the Schwinn No Nose seat #2, and the Cloud 9 seat #3, all have been used with a suspension NCX seat stem.

I am looking at the Spiderflex seat, for the better half, as she don't like the standard nosed seats, of any type.. ymmv
