How do you know if you can change the saddle of an ebike? ( GoCycle )

I got a Gocycle recently and the saddle is astonishingly uncomfy. If I went to a bike shop, would they be able to upgrade the saddle? I am also planning on selling the bike to get a dutch style ebike.

Does something like this work?

Oh nice! Shall I buy it off amazong or ebay, and then just take it to a bike shop for them to do it for me? I want one that is wide and nice and comfy
Those criteria don't necessarily mean you are going to be comfortable. First off, a heavily padded saddle often just disguises a bad anatomical fit long enough for you to stand it on your typical ride. A wide saddle with a short nose is a lot better for just sitting on the bike and thumbing the throttle. If you actually pedal, then you are needing a narrower saddle with a longer nose (to keep the backs of your legs from colliding with the saddle).

The real fitment test is measuring your sit bone width and trying to find a saddle that actually fits your body. A company like Ergon has a pretty good fitment web site that goes over this. Otherwise, you are just rolling the dice. Which is what you'll do anyway as one person's recommendation doesn't mean a whole lot to another person... we all have different anatomy and saddles are notoriously personal things.

There's also sliding the saddle forward and back within its range of travel on the seatpost. The effect that has on reach can be a big deal and costs $0 to do. Take that a step further and you have seatposts with 'setback' and without that change the same thing. I literally just did a seatpost switch to no setback on a new bike and it was the last piece of the puzzle to get it comfy for me.
