Hi, I'm an ambitious 78 year old in Carnarvon North West Australia, who has just bought a "3 Wheel Monsterpro" Electric bike. It is a 48 volt setup but, I was wondering if somebody can tell me if the headlight is 12 volt, or if 12 volts is available somewhere on it. The reason I ask is I would like to set up a spare Dasboard Camera on the handlebars. Thanks in advance. Simmo.

Can't answer your question but welcome to the forum from Texas.

I cannot answer your question either, but welcome to the forum. I’m confident someone on here may be able to help you

Thanks fellows, it is a bit towards being back to front for me, I'm comming towards the end of the road, and my bike is at the beginning, He, He.

Simmo I don't know but welcome from San Mateo, California.

Gday simmo, if you don't have your own multimeter, perhaps just drop into one of the caravan parks that are filling up with grey nomads each night? At the very least, you'd have a horde of women thanking you for distracting their husbands for a few hours as they finally get to play with their electric testing equipment ;)

Sorry for the tone, but we had a horrible night in one of those parks being lectured at by mr merc about how our 4x4 camper trailer was a third class touring option...and clearly we were new at the game because we set up the guy ropes wrong.....despite having just coped with 40 knt winds at francis peron.....he felt sorry for us etc etc....carnarvon is a wonderfull area but I can't even read the name without bursting out in laughter

Enjoy your trike

Yes PDoz we came to this caravan park (Plantation C/Van Pk) for 2 nights 20 years ago, and after 25 years in the gold mining business and at 59 years didn't expect to get a job. Anyway I rang Dampier Salt a RIO company and jagged a job and ended up a maintainence fitter on the monsterous dredge that mined Gypsum. WOW thats a mouthfull considering my original question. Now back to the subject, yes I have a multi-meter but, just thought I would ask the question before I start braking into cable tubes etc.

I am haveing trouble putting in an Avatar, can somebody tell me in kindegarten language how to go about it? Thanks in advance.
