Just got a new bike! Bafang M620 G510 Ultra (CAN Bus) and the display / HMI is the DP C010.CB

The specs say there is Bluetooth 5.0.
I downloaded the Bafang Go+ app that was mentioned in the manual for the display.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to complete the connection. The app sees the display, but nothing happens once I try to connect.

Currently unable to change tire size, change max speed limit, nor switch battery percentage to volts

Any help appreciated.

(Using Android 13 on a Galaxy S20+)
Tried on a Galaxy Tab A8. No joy

Shouldn't some/all of those changes be available directly from the display menu?

After browsing the manual... I think you may be in CANBUS HELL
Another question for WW as at the very least the wheel size should be correct.
@Rome has a Canbus Ultra.... What display are you using and does it allow these adjustments?

I am in CAN Bus. It seems my bike is the first one with this display. Every other bike so far has had the DPC-18

And that might be the problem... Releasing s*it before it works.
I saw that display online about a month ago but you're the first to claim having one.
I'd start at WW for an answer. How do they send out a bike without setting wheel size... smh. But I guess it's good that you actually got the bike.

To be fair, the box it came in said DPC-18
That would be great if the box had a Canbus Higo connector on it 🙃
But what I meant is you would think that the bike would be tested with the display connected and confirm that things such as wheel size and battery voltage are set correctly before shipping. And in this case, that the Bluetooth interface works.

Can Confirm!
This new display I have will only show the battery at 9% even though it is full charged. (I hooked the batt up to another bike with a DPC-18)

SOLVED: Purchased a programming cable that has a click button. Pushed the button a certain number of times and that changes the tire size and max km/h

The app however I gave up on.

SOLVED: The controller was programmed for a 60V battery while mine is a 48V 17.5Ah. Got a BESST PRO and will reprogram the controller!

I did not get the BT working. I did tune my motor using the BESST PRO. However, I loaded different firmwares I found online. One of the FW let me make adjustments on the actual display. Others didn't.

That's great...
I believe you've gotten further with this than anyone else here has.
If you get a chance can you elaborate?
What changes were you actually able to achieve and what's the process with the BESST and display.
If you have any links to the firmware... awesome as well.
Shame you couldn't get the BT to work as the display should be able to adjust torque and acceleration curves.

Ok....
My motor is the G510 / M620 Canbus 48V 1000W
The BESST PRO was sold to me, and the person gave me his login information to help me. (This, I will not share as I'll lose privileges)

I was originally given
CRR10MC6028E101115.1_210306
Firmware from the factory.
This was actually a 60v 28amp ( 60v battery) Firmware. So only 7% was displayed on my on my battery screen.

I had to learn about firmwares:

The file name scheme is like this
CRR10MC4830E101101.2_221219

So this C4830 means it's canbus, 48v, 30amp

CRR10MC4825E101112.3_240320
This is 48v 25amp (this is a 750w firmware)

CRR10MC5240E101102.1.01_230505
This is 52v 40amp (way too much for standard controller..wouldn't try this one personally)

CRR10MC6028E101115.1_210306
This is 60v 28amp (if you have a 60v battery)

Try the 30amp ones only..I wouldn't mess with 52 or 60v..
You can also try the 25amp one (750w) but it'll be reduced power.

I then looked high and low on the nets looking for FW.

In the earlier days, BAFANG allowed changes to be made via the BESST. Newer FW and locked even with BESST. FW are designed for companies and their specific needs.

Some I've found, can be adjusted with the BESST.
Others cannot.

I've found one... where a new screen is available in this display, and I can adjust the settings for each PAS. Pretty rad.

Hopefully, with the above, you can search and find Firmware that suits you. I left a lot of messages and post on a lot of forums.

As for the BT app. Possibly and older version of the app might work with my Samsung?! I never really tried too hard. The Bafang app really seems intrusive. BAFANG seems to want to know everything. For such a minimal effort on their end, I don't feel like wasting time troubleshooting it.

Coolio!
If I can be a total pain in the arss.
Would you mind taking a screenshot of the available settings "where a new screen is available in this display, and I can adjust the settings for each PAS."
But don't let it cut into your ride time. 👍
