Wow. Pretty tough back then. Parents use to teach kids, if you wanted it, you worked for it and you fixed it.

That’s what I took away from knowing how she grew up. I’ve been working hard, bought an ebike, and am fully expecting to fix it when needed.

My father, retired and is now tending a garden in his backyard. His grand-mother also worked in her yard. Up until her 90’s, she would mow her own lawn. She lived to be 106!
