Handel bar grips

depends on the model.

for the ones without a locking ring, we used to use hairfixationspray to put them onto the handle bars and when this is dried it will lock on the grip. In the case you would need to take them off, spray discbrakecleaner underneath the grips and use a compressor to shoot them off.

The handle bar grips keep twisting. What is a recommended way to keep them from twisting?
Replace them with grips that have a locking ring if you like the ergonomic style that comes with lectric bikes (with palm rest, not round). If you want to switch to round grips then it won't be as important. Press on grips are much easier to slide on with a bit of mist of water on the inside of the grip and some on the handlebar before pushing them on. Leave them alone for a couple days for the water to evaporate. Some people recommend to use alcohol, glass cleaner or soapy water but I've run into some grips that are chemical sensitive and don't do well unless plain water is used.

If you want to try and keep the ones you have you can try cleaning them (the inside) and the bar ends well.. Like with some isopropyl alcohol.

Lock-on style, like mentioned above, are the best option. But should you want regular style grips to stay put I use either Aqua Net or spray point. Spray point works best. Spray inside the grip before sliding on and have a rag ready!
