Groundbreaking Trike?

Pray tell as to what difference it would make to you or even why you believe that you would need to know any of the above?
I've got a cruiser and an mtb with dead batteries...what in blazes difference would that make to you?
Why would you care whether I had ever ridden a mini-bike period...let alone an electric one?
Do you really care if I can get a refund and why would I give a rip?
I have spent twenty times this much money (or more) without test driving a mile and obviously wouldn't have bought a pedal bike if I didn't care to pedal.

Is our younger generation not even interested in getting their driving licenses really afraid of getting in to a strange new vehicle and simply slamming it in to 1st gear/smoking the tires without Daddy or Mommy on board?
I thought you wanted advice on your new trike. Tom asked a few questions in order to give you the advice. Not sure I follow your response...

No 'advice' was asked for nor help truly offered in terms of Tom's loaded/irrelevant questions just called out for what they were.
I've been 'asking' in regards to the multiple specific groundbreaking aspects of this trike and pretty much receiving no acknowledgement whatsoever involving a single feature not offered elsewhere.
When all one can come up with to dispute the term groundbreaking is Tom's 'help'...not to mention a bunch of fretting as to whether the Soletri is the first overseas Ebike manufacturer to have ever stretched the truth...I'm going to go out on a limb here and claim that this trike has potential for the price.

That is weird. A chat bot?
When ordering wine, or food, art, wouldn't it be reasonable to ask about one's prior experience? Look for reviews on Google Maps and not on the seller's website. They have 4.6 Stars, which is good. 4188 Arden Dr. El Monte, CA 91731. I just don't think that their customers know better because they have never tasted the good stuff. This is Elvis on black velvet.

My bet is Tom would like to draw on your previous experience to share a thought, or if you're a little light on that, share his in the hope you may find some relevance. He's just trying to give you a hand. That's how things work around here.

BTW, you can ignore it if you like, but failures using front hub motors in conjunction with front suspensions is an issue to consider. Do as you like....

Weird chat bots are not part of this conversation and never have been (nice try).
The next time that someone up here tries to 'help' by asking if you can get your money back..flat laugh at them (as I just did) for...wait for it...'trying to help'.

proven by his asinine

All Tom was trying to prove is that I had no prior experiences (period) as his questions clearly indicated.
Funny that you guys kept silent in regards to this groundreaking trike's fully suspended suspension system for all these weeks...only to finally come back with...wait for it...'(all) front hub motors break front suspensions, sooooo'......

It is very heavy by more than twice, a hub drive, and with little kid sized wheels with fat knobby tires that get pinch flats all day long and need replacement every couple of months!

This groundbreaking Soletri is "Heavier by more than twice" than exactly what in its same class (or even close) using what comparative specs? Hmmmmm?
A 20"x 4" all terrain tire is "kid size" on today's upright trikes compared to what (again) in its same class?
And who exactly has ever needed to replace the above tire "every couple of months" in human history?

All what weeks? You just started this 4/12.....

Speaking for myself for sure, and likely the others, you did ask for opinions, right? Why so pissy when you get them?

Wholly crud. How can someone go 9 years from the last post sept 9, 2014 and start back up on April 12 2023 and expect to be taken serious.
Seems that maybe the forum admins need to decide on a time period to selectively age out accounts here.

Today's May 2nd. Count 'em.
I suggest that you re-read my posts.
If I have stayed anything less than factual in any response to your opinion (the whole concept of a forum pre-snowflake/therapy pony era)...please call me out on it.
Otherwise, I stand by everything that I have generously offered of my time to educate regarding this groundbreaking trike.
If you are "likely" speaking for others up here that I am "pissy" versus old school direct...again...dispute my facts not my straight forward method of delivering them without a participation trophy included.

Perhaps you just answered your buddy Tom's question as to exactly who in this conversation has been riding Ebikes the longest.
If you're obviously afraid of the old guys up here and/or their knowledge of the sport while demanding that they all be "aged out"...why don't you take a stab at criticizing this trike yourself?
Hey, there's only this old geezer here to ask you questions back when you criticize (see most every post above)...why be so afraid of an old man???

why be so afraid of an old man???
Nobody afraid here. I doubt you're much older than a lot of us here. Deal is, there's this thing called respect.....

You want a trike like this, go for it!

...and you haven't earned it in this thread my friend...yet hey...we're all sinners and hopefully forgivers as He demands.

I like the guy above who figures that he'd survive the first run off of a cliff on one to do it again and hopefully not disturb anything... 🤣

I will say that I got a look at those first pics here in the U.S (?) of the long awaited Lectric XP trike...and no offense to anyone who snatched it up (it is a good deal for what it is)...but I'm glad that I payed more than I wanted to for the Soletri even sight unseen.

We just put down $3K for Addmotor's yet be released new trike. Full suspension front and rear, 20ah "world's first UL listed battery'; 750W Bafang motor, speed sensor, banana seat well supported for easy modification (I may put in an uber comfy Polaris Sportsman ate seat that has been around for decades); 450# GVWR; crappy disc brakes; fat 4" Kenda puncture resistant tires, decent controller, modern style lighting...that's about it.

What are the odds that I receive this if and when promised (I will update here if so) and that this model holds up in '23 as at least one of the top 3 for the money per what's featured if delivered?

I think that they have done a pretty good job of disrupting the market here in regards to the suspension in the seat area alone and what could possibly be done to make the non-recumbent class much more comfortable.
Ed. To be nice.
Dear Mister Ricroll
I believe you will get this some what unique front wheel drive tricycle and it will work as long as friction is maintained.
Since you are pioneering this model I suggest:.
Mike
How will you build and eventually fix it? It's heavy, it needs a hoist to change tires ?
Because it will likely need repair right out of the box, and a bonded certified mechanic for the repair to be insured.
Read in this forum about shipping damage for example.

Talked to Addmotor (America) and was encouraged by the conversation that they'd be unloading the container for immediate shipment of at least mine in a week or two.
Obviously not sure as to how many are already spoken for or whether an order today would be delivered at the same time.

I seriously doubt that you have anything to worry about 🙃

Agreed per how Addmotor has handled the sale to date. Accessories have looked good, were reasonably priced and arrived quickly with free shipping. I'd like to get a few more (larger pedals, foot rests for a passenger, etc.) yet the latter makes it easier for someone who likes to see larger ticket items at just about that amount of money with their own eyes first (old man syndrome).
I'm a little surprised that I never ran in to someone else in this small world who took a chance on this new model Soletri and that is perhaps excited as me to see if Addmotor built on what I feel is a success in the design of their semi-recumbent (rear-weighted too much for my own needs yet I like the seating/handlebar position and the general look):
