Luna Super Banana (aka Coast Cycles Buzzraw X) with the new Ludicrous V2 controller. Has 4000 watts with a 52V 18ah battery. You can also run a 72V battery for over 5000 watts. I’m sticking with the 52v at first to see how I like the bike. Should make a good companion to my Hydra.

That looks really cool. How much travel do you get on those forks?
The bike has 80mm travel front and rear. I’m going to upgrade to the Cobblecross Dual Crown fork which will give me 100mm travel. The rear spring shock will be replaced with a Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3 air shock.

A very interesting design.. what is the price point and availability?

For now yes but I’ll be upgrading that to a Gates Belt Drive.
Incase you do not have a frame break and want a belt drive.

Coast Cycles sells the bike with a Gates so I know it can be done. I’m getting the parts directly from them.

I’m concerned though that 4000w will shred the Rohloff. A Kindernay may be the better choice but even that will be stressed at this power level. Single speed may be the way to go.
I has a throttle right?
We discussed this in another thread unless you are in the straight through gear on the Rohloff, full throttle and with massive wattage or even punching it on a hill could cause issues, one being your warranty is void instantly based on the raw power it is putting out.

Yes it has a throttle. The single speed is probably the better way to go. Nothing expensive to break.

Update: no Gates Belt Drive, Luna doesn’t recommend it. The bIke needs gears to keep from lugging the motor.

Bike gets delivered on Tuesday! Have a few mods I’m going to do before riding it. Mainly the brakes because the stock brakes are woefully inadequate for the 4000w power level.

Would love to see Pushkar make a bike like this. A full carbon Bafang Ultra powered version would be very tempting.
