Can anyone steer me to a good cheap new MTB to make a less bone jarring rough ride reader out of with eboost of course? Howabout a rear freewheel or cassette with at least 8 spds with 11-32 range? My "Hell week" and breakaway days are long over( big orange is killing Me and I couldn't get rid of the Fatire 20" quick enough{ it was the most popular one- plenty of speed and climbing ability, thing is thats not everything}
Even though thE Himiway 20 " is 20" it has full suspension How about the EUNORAU fulll suspension rear drive bike 36V? I believe I can overcome that defiecency( My Neck is finally recovering after my last 18 mile rough road ride.Big Orange may hit EBay or Facebook( plenty of speed and power)

In spite of the name, the Moscow is made by a German company, the fat tire version Is called the Aspen. (same pricing) NCM names
all their bikes after cities, & I guess they wanted the Russian market. I bought the Moscow, but would recommend the Moscow+ or
Aspen + if you need more suspension & don´t mind more costly tires. This bike,( the +), costs currently $1339, has a freewheel 8 spd,
11/32 & a triple 48/38/28 chainring,500w, 48v 16Ah battery & hydraulic brakes. (27.5¨ or 29¨ wheels, 26¨ 0n the fat ). It has all the power you´d
ever need & climbs like a goat. The plain Moscow is cheaper, 13 Ah, mech. disc brakes, 7 spd. 28/14 freewheel, 48v 13Ah. My plain version
has 2300 mi. with no mechanical issues, (couple spokes & flats, my fault). Itś a good general purpose bike, but not a downhill
sort of mtn bike. Uphill itś super, the + more so. Plenty of range. the only con with the mech. brakes is that they require regular adjustment.
Itś German & they´re picayune about it should be treated. I suggest memorizing the manual. EBR has a good review with specs etc.

Correction: the aspen + is now $1429.

Thanks I will definitely look into that, I have 750 watt 36 volt kit coming( display and all) if I snag a good something or the other I might try another build, 22 mph is fast enough for me, suprisingly enough the Hardtail Cruiser I ride climbs very well on the tarmac, when I turn up on the old gov't ( very steep entrance) I have the PAS in 3 and the gearset in 3-4 and standup on the pedals and let it have it, its kinda fun grabbing gravels. But the heavy old cuss is going to put me in a neck brace. The last time the display worked it had recorded 39 mph+ after I had changed the freewheel, seemed a bit wobbly at that speed could imagine what would happen with a "whitetail" collision.

Wow, I looked at Leon cycles( again dangerous visions a Prague with the 750 watt wheel installed) its almost 30 # lighter than the "Great Pumpkin" and with a "Thud Buster" I might be in luck. Thanks again I had no idea.

That's sounds pretty hardcore, howse yur health insurance?🤔 The moscow will climb anything, but I really, really would not
get airborn on one.

Its kinda like a place I used to hike, fairly difficult and before you came to the "peach" (the stream) there was a vertical limestone drop, you either went , made a very difficult detour or slid down over the thing as best you could- sometimes you can't help it. Had many concussions and fell off of roofs I was working on more than once. You bring up a good point things that once would only result in a nasty bruise or a lot of swelling are not worth it anymore, that's why I believe 22 mph is fast enough now( my health Insurance sucks, weren't for 'bamacare" wouldn't have any.)
Thanks for the tip on the Leon cycles, very well appointed for the price if I can get rid of the "great pumpkin," the Folks at Leon might have a new customer, will have to finish the build on the old Aluminum cruiser also, try to sell it or gift it.
Ebikes are my new hobby and these marvelous things have got me pedaling again.

Concussions? Let me count the ways. I´ve fallen off a roof too,.... into 5 foot of snow thankfully. At least I have yet to encounter large carnivorous
predators while riding, though it´s not completely off the table. I think of ebikes as a great supplemental source of adrenalin. Still, I hope that one
day infrastructure will be safe for bikes & pedestrians.🙄 I really should get busy & mount my 1000w kit on a light road bike I have.

When I fell on the concrete it was easier on me than the dirt,I was able to land flatfooted and fell back, the other time I hit shoulder and headfirst( a knot came up between my shoulder blades) when I got up after after the "blank spot" I was doing irrational things for awhile.
The old-timers would all say they couldn't climb.I thought they were joshing me, now I understand why you have to be super cautious on high places now. When I get old I do not plan on hanging around too long.I am only 64 now and still fell pretty good, this new hobby has got me excited, presently I love messing with bikes.
I will concede maybe that 82# Cruiser is not the best bike for these hills and Unpaved roads I plan on getting something lighter and smoother, the only bad thing is there are no bike lanes and trails anywhere close,I have been in touch with the Forest Service about constructing MTB trails, they do not seem interested and I'll be durned if I want to have to go to a State park to ride my Bike or Ebike.
I'll check my Email again hopefully I will get a reply from one the Gov't higher ups( Hiking Trails, smiking trails- I want a place to ride a bike)

I had a forced landing on concrete a little while back,... the alternative being extinction beneath wheels. I live in the most bike friendly state
3 years running a short distance from the country´s most bike friendly town. Lotsa bike lanes & paths around here & two recently passed
laws have made things far more ebike friendly. I Still have to put myself in harm´s way to ride into town.

My bones for whatever reason are very tough, the only breaks I Know of are L5, both pinkys(still crooked to this day), and a toe If I diagnosed it correctly.I have "Ankylosing Spondylitis" and the Ortho Guy tells me In fact I do not actually have a recognizable L5 these days. The sprains eventually heal and these days my mantra"stay away from the doctors" when they start treating you its a downward spiral.
The 'Sawbones killed my beloved Uncle and dang near killed my Father in Law. We are not going to live forever and at some point its about quality of life.

Second that! Hospitals are where you go to get sick. (my experience anyway). I went 25 years without seeing a doctor & should have gone longer.
I went into hospital for 3 broken ribs, was submitted to every imaginable test & pumped full of 4 gallions of saline. I got a $7K bill for 2 nights though
they never got ´round to treating the actual injury. 72 hours after leaving I came down with a horrendous respiratory infection. I spent to next 2 weeks
sleeping in a chair coughing my lungs out with 3 broken ribs. The one rib didn´t stop clicking for 2 years. I was literally run over twice by cars some
30+ years back with nigh as many breaks as Knievel including vertibrae C,T & L. That´s my excuse for going electric if anyone asks.

I am basically doing it because of the "ebike bug" after I found out something a few minutes ago, the "Boys hereabout" have got me lusting for a Nireeka the Cops will not bother Me on that and if I take it easy on the paths I should have no problem.
After talking with the head Ranger( a Lady) I found out Ebikes are verbotan on most trails and Hiking paths,I was trying to get permission to call down the Boys and Gals from 'Shenadoah "and make some mtn bike trails in this area.I still waiting for a reply from the PTB.It takes all kind and never wanted offend anybody,I never got a straight answer of the moratorium on EMTBs on the trails. With the Nireeka I could actually tow the EMTB to the trailheads( its got a nominal 2 hp and quite good range, this whole thing of having to pay the gov't for every fun activity is getting rather annoying.
Enjoy the "Hades" out of your Ebike, people around here act like they have never heard of such a thing. If it keeps you active ,all the better.
