I‘m a hobby cyclist. I enjoy riding an older Trek 820 on city trails. I’ve just started looking at ebikes, mostly to help a bit with big hills. There’s a big one leading from the trail to my house that I sometimes dread. My husband and I just started looking. He quickly settled on a pedego. It was smooth, but it felt more like a mini moped than a bike to me. I’ve been considering a Fuji Conductor. It feels more like a traditional bike with a bit of a boost. I don’t see many reviews on this model, though. Can it power me through inclines (paved)? Can anyone chime in? Also, will I regret not getting a throttle for hills and keeping up with my husband? Any other similar bikes under $3000 I should consider?
