Forum bug / usability issues with "Electric Bike Shops Near You"

I was just typing a PM to someone and noticed the map started encroaching on the PM message where I couldn't read what I was typing. Fortunately I was able drag the map away.

Edit: I have no problems with advertisements, but it's creating usability issues clarified below.

Primarily notice this glitch when responding to a PM. Sometimes it obscures messages. Sometimes it interferes with typing. Seems to be a layout glitch specific to private discussion. Sample screen capture:

The web devs here seem pretty capable. This is a bug manifesting on PM screens. Stuff won't get fixed if nobody points it out.

I would consider this as a legit heads-up if the ad covers up a functional feature.

Anyone else? I've tested in multiple browsers including phone and tablet and they all exhibit the issue when viewing and replying to private conversations.

OK, I just realized it's the draggable map on the right 1/3 of the screen that's the culprit. This map is not displayed on most forum screens. On my laptop I use a touchpad to scroll via 2 finger drag gesture. If my cursor happens to be on the right 1/3 of the screen it zooms and scrolls the map instead of scrolling the screen. The map is also not initially quarantined to its container, which is causing other issues covering up buttons, etc. and randomly floating. This also explains why the map can be dragged away.

I figured out how to solve the annoyance. I went to the search box at the bottom of the screen and changed my zip to 99999 and hit search. Now when I come back to the screen there are no electric bike shops near me and the problem goes away. Please advise when this is fixed so I can go back to supporting EBR via ad displays.
