Experiences with concealed motors and cycle racing

Hi Guys,
Quick question. Does anyone use an internal frame motor (like the Vivax Assist) when training for races or endurance rides?

If so, do you think they help you build race fitness faster?

Any other observations on internal motors?

Thanks

My personal observation of motorized doping is that it is a non sequiter for race day.

For training purposes motor assist can be of benefit as a derney or as a friend once described it, speed training.

My preference is a higher wattage system to overcompensate for the systems weight with a drivetrain that has gear ratios available to allow for rider variable input levels/cadence that imitate closely their desired output on their analog bike.

A large part of the additional weight is the battery which can vary according to desired output/miles.

You can play the bikes weight against your input to imitate hill and headwinds by backing off the assist level.
