I am considering the purchase of an ebike for my 1 mile commute to the beach. A lot of teenage boys in my neighborhood have fat tire ebike with surfboard racks on them, and I keep asking myself why I am driving a ford econoline to surf when I am alone. I like the look of the minibike/moped style bikes, but they don't look easy to mount a surfboard rack onto. When I see a picture of a rack on a minibike, it has been for a shortboard. I mostly ride surfboards between 7'6 and 9'6. It seems like longboard racks need to be spaced farther apart. Does anyone have experience mounting a longboard rack onto the frame of a minibike/moped style ebike? What brand rack did you use? What brand minibike do you own? Any pictures? Thank you in advance
