Error code after changing rear tire (flat)

Picked up a nail, so new tube time on the rear of my ST2S. Not too bad on the tube change, I did of course have to pull the electrical connector to the rear hub with is a on "D" ring. Got it all back together and everything works fine EXCEPT ....

When I turn the main power "Off" on the bike, an error message appears that says " exceeded maximum speed limit". Anyone know that brought that on or how to clear it? Bike runs fine....

Have you tried re-seating the wheel ?
Sometimes if the power connector is not aligned properly, then it throws some error messages like this. Also, one could experience some stuttering of the motor under power.
Also worth trying removing the battery to clear any static charge and restarting the bike.

Wouldn't it be great if now the bike exceeded maximum speed, and now power doesn't cut off till 40mph! Let us know if thats the case. I'm impressed you got d ring back on without complaint.
