Hi, newbie here. Thank you for accepting me. It’s been a number of years since this senior owned or used a bike. i just scored an Electra townie D8 step over. Trying to find out what many of the strange do-dads on the bike; I can’t find a user manual anywhere. Anyone know where i could find a owner manual or have a link to the townie user guide? TIA

I’ve done both. I did a search here to b4 posting. It was a trek store and everything post purchase was about trek bikes.

Well, I can tell you that Trek (and many other high tech manufacturers) is poor at publishing decent user info. Nothing specific or detailed about the specific ebike models. You’re probably better off showing pictures of specific “do-dads” and asking if anyone knows what they are and do.

I assume you've asked the bike shop for the the info / documentation that come with your Electra Townie 8i ) and they said ??
This is odd ?? That they would sell you a $2000 + with no written information. Did you receive any warrantee information ?
