Thank you EBR for inviting me in, was an outsider looking in, now insider looking in. Excellent!

I have RadPower/RadWagon 4 e-bike, Rize RX and soon to come (mid-December) Fuell Flluid 2S (the evolutionary next generation of e-bikes to come with Erik Buell at the helm).

RadWagon 4 has lots of upgrades including Area 13 (Formerly Bolton Bikes) upgrades controller (https://area13ebikes.com/products/radkit) make this station wagon cargo bike pure fun. A head turner on the trails.

Rize RX, a beautiful concept after massive research, but major disappointment with (what I consider) major engineering design flaws on the drive train. Lots of problems with this "Lamborghini of Bikes - 32+ MPH speed . . . had it up to 37 MPH top speed", but like Lambos, they run either 100 % or zero %. This Rize RX runs zero % 100% of the time. Always working on it, tuning it and it still won't hit 8th gear. Zero factory or customer service support. Big time money pit, and Lemon I might add . . . and I'm being nice. Caveat Emptor with Rize RX.

Eric Buell (yes, Buell Motorcycle Company, has entered the E-Bike market with superior engineering, design and surrounded himself with all the key players to make a revolutionary new e-bike. I bought their high end Fuell Flluid 2S, with dual battery 225 mile range on a single charge, 28 MPH speed, 7-speed automatic mid-drive Valeo motor and belt drive (no-chains) . . . make this the future of e-biking, commuting and urban low carbon footprint. Can't wait.

See you on the trail!

Welcome. I have a good friend who has preordered one. He repeatedly goes for overly complicated bikes that are heavy and do not have local support. And he is repeatedly disheartened and disappointed. There is something about whizzbangs such as apps and stats that attracts him like a magpie to a shinny object.

Gotta lov' em. It 's always nice to learn from the experinces of the first purchaseres of new technologies.
Pinon has an intrgrated 12 Speed Gear box/motor coming to. Looking forward to trying it when it's intrgrated into an mtb.

My buddy keeps going for crowd source funded bikes that then go belly up when problems start to compile. I read that if you have a problem, they want you to ship the bike to a service center in Wisconsin. So, lets go with each repair cycle takes three months to file the claim, trouble shoot with customer service, qualify, ship, order parts, repair, and return ship & that you have two problems the first year and four problems the second year. Then they go under. While you are still paying off Bikeflights on your credit card.
