drive-train upgrade to the ST2S

I have been a roadie for a longtime, purchased a used st-1 last year and upgraded to the ST2S this year -
I am more of a grinder VS a spinner on a bike and wanted to be able to slow down my rpm's when riding the bike -
the solution was to buy a singe speed - narrow wide ring and a larger chain guard for the bike - deckas - 54 T from findsmall on ebay and the guard from BBG "bashguard" - my friend who is approching 20K on his ST2S is also going with this upgrade
am able to keep 30 MPH comfortably on the flats - hope this helps

thanks for the post. I'll check out the crank on ebay. A 54T would be a nice upgrade to the gearing, as I believe it to be undergeared for my ride which is mostly flat.
