Creo SL 1x Chainguide?

Don't think he's ridden the Garbaruk yet, and the drops occurred with the Praxis.

I also noticed a slight outward shift in the chain line with my Wolftooth - I think the original Praxis is slightly dished while the replacement chainrings are flat.
Yep. Haven’t ridden the Garbaruk yet.
The Praxis is dished as you say. I’m still looking into getting some shims to adjust the Garbaruk line. In the meantime I’ve ordered a new chain - just in case..;-)

Always a good plan to have a spare chain with an bike. The Creo does not munch them like a full fat e-bike, but still a decent spare to keep. I could not understand why the Garbaruk was not working.....not being on the bile is a good excuse. 🤣. I did not shim mine, but your experience may be different depending in your riding.

Honestly, I just don't think the slight shift in front chainring position will make a meaningful difference.

If anything the shift very slightly reduces the chain angle to the small cogs, which should help reduce wear.

Good point about the small cogs. I suppose any chain wear will be a function of which gears one uses most - and it being an e-bike I suspect it won’t (or shouldn’t) be the big cogs…

Guys, can we buy this kind of bolt? (Lost mine)
Bolt that have female thread inside.

Google binary bolt female thread inside.
Include thread pitch in your description.

I know this is somewhat reviving an old thread, but I bought this chainguard from aliexpress
it is an almost perfect fit for the Creo V1. It projects slightly too far out away from the bike (1 or 2mm) such that the chain will catch when in the biggest rear cog, , but the aluminium of the bracket is soft enough to bend by hand with pliers or a vice, and the guide itself is soft plastic, easy to shave 1 mm off the inside face. An hour of tweaking and it works. I'm running a 40T.

Thank you so much for posting this! I can't believe it is only 99¢ 😮
Once mine arrives and I get it installed, I'll follow up with similar pics.
Thanks again 🙏

cost me £3, but still, its super-cheap. Buy 2, in case you break it whilst doing the bending - I wasn't sure if I might, so I got 2!
FYI I used the same bolt as on the original guide, I should probably replace it with a countersunk head to get better fit on the face of the new mount.

Nicely done - thanks for sharing. I'm still on the fence about it. Whenever I have new(er) chain on I don't have drops in any condition as long as clutch is engaged (have shimano setup)
