I've now experienced four instances of the bike reporting a motor error. They seem to be generated randomly with nothing out of the ordinary causing them. I've contacted the shop but they say I have to bring the bike in so they can connect it to their diagnostic computer. I haven't been able to haul the bike in as my wife has been out of town with my truck and won't return until later this week. Mission Control says to turn off the system, wait 30 seconds, then turn the system back on. So far this has cleared the error every time. Mission Control also has an Advanced Diagnostic function that says will transmit the Diagnostic Report "to the Specialized Authorized Retailer network, enabling remote diagnostics". but my dealer knows nothing about this function or ability. I'll be interested to see what the dealer finds and how he will resolve it.
