Converting old Raleigh 3 speed

I will show the way I use bungee the next time I mount a large object. Here are more of those racks I like for classic bikes. I purchased the blood red one for a matching red bike today. They are made from tubular alloy. Not many racks come in pink. The British racing green glows like a jewel. There is even a teal one.
Edit: Here is how I use a bungee for larger objects. Click below to enlarge and zoom. 1) Loop that is cinched. 2) Cross with double half-hitch knots. 3) Collapsed tool bag with rack routing of the bungee. This setup takes seconds to tie or untie.

How does the new rack look in your opinion? Do you think George Clooney rides an electric bike like this?

It looks fantastic! Really classy and gorgeous! I don't know if he does but if I see him I will ask him!
Ps- I like your battery. The battery from Ecocycles is not available so I may look elsewhere. I am I no hurry really.

I'm interested in making a budget, stealth e-bike that can handle a bit of a hill (and is legal i.e. 250w).

I found this kit online https://www.banggood.com/36V-250W-El...r_warehouse=CN

This £50 bike as a donor: http://thebiketube.com/blog/bike-wee...aleigh-3-speed

My thinking is basic hub motors are not geared, Raleigh 3 speeds have geared hubs and so therefore should work with basic hub motors offering efficiency savings and better hill performance.

Of course I am a complete noob, so appreciate any comments or advice on a better (but still budget) set-up.
3 speeds are overlooked these days, but I put a few miles on them & in conjunction with a motor
they can be remarkably powerful yet simple to operate & maintain. In B.E.,(before electric), I
hung 25cc a friction drive on a Raleigh 3 spd. 3 speeds was all that was needed for any
situation. I imagine even an inexpensive 250w front whl kit would be perfectly adequate if one
didn´t ride in steep terrain. A mid- drive could also serve, but cost more.
