Commuter Tire Question

What is the narrowest e-bike rated commuter tire (i.e., low rolling resistance) that I could safely/reasonably put on a 27.5 35 mm width rim? My riding is asphalt and crushed limestone. Extra points for a Schwalbe recommendation...

I really like the new 202 Schwalbe Hurricane tires. Super quiet and fast on pavement and still sure footed when I get on dirt paths and gravel. With Tannus Arnour liners they are super flat resistant as well.

I am running the Hurricanes with Tubolitos and am not getting flats (so far).

Thanks... I previously downloaded the 2020 catalog. What I am wondering is whether 40-584, 44-584 or 47-584 tires will fit properly on a rim with 35 mm internal width? Or must I use a wider tire?

See the tab “Which tire fits which rim?”

Not Schwalbe, but WTB's chart shows that you shouldn't really mount a tire narrower than 55mm on a 35mm rim width (assuming inside width). You could go down to 47mm in width, but that's going to give you too square a profile for performance on curves.
