I also have a Kinect body float on my Specialized Vado and it made an huge difference. However I’m about 135 lbs and have different springs than what you have. I will say that their customer service is incredible. I needed to call them for some specifics and found them to be patient, articulate and volunteer much info. The seat post requires a little fine tuning until it’s comfortable. Please don’t hesitate to call them with your concerns.

I live in Bellingham Washington where Kinekt is located and ride them. They are all the same size. The difference is the springs which are rated for different weights and come in pairs. The guy you bought them from messed up and ordered one with the wrong springs. Your must have come with the black springs. Have him get a pair of the orange ones which have the 200-250 lb. rating and swap them out.

Just pick up a set of the right springs direct from Kinekt. They are only $10. Keep the black springs it came with in case you lose weight or want to let someone lighter ride the bike.

I have several. Once, they sent the wrong springs (I use black). I sent an email and Cirrus had new springs to me in about 2 days (no charge of course) with a sincere apology. Great service I've had with them thus far. I think the springs are inexpensive. Like $10 or something from what I recall.
I have to say that I've also been pleased with the performance of my Thudbuster STs (have 2) for about $80 less. Probably the Kinekt handles the very small frequency vibration better whereas they are equal in the larger bumps (IMO).

Over50: thanks for feedback on the Thudbuster. I seriously thought of getting on but didn’t have enough vertical space on the seat post. Maybe next bike.

You'll probably be ok, just ordering 1 orange spring. (The bottom). $10.
Besides, you might try a goal, to get down to the weight of using 2 black Springs, medium, which is a max of 200. That's what some of my customers expressed they intend to do.
Some people also feel the springs are too stiff, so maybe try the two blacks, and see how it feels, before ordering an extra spring. Note that Cirrus always supplies two extra softer Springs with each set. And you can stiffen them up by using the tuning guide, and Allen wrench. 215 won't hurt the springs at all.

I weigh 215 at present after a month of no riding due to a car door. I am using both orange springs right now with the preload set at 1.5 This was set and adjusted by Charlie Heggem, the guy who invented the body float parallelogram design.When I get down to 205 I will put a black spring back in the upper position. Essentially you want to be bottoming out very rarely on the largest bumps.
