Can I register an e-Bike with throttle in the EU?

I am thinking of taking an A2B Alva+ from the US when I move back to Europe (not sure the final destination yet--Amsterdam, Brussels or Copenhagen). If it weren't for the throttle, the bike would qualify as a speed pedelec and require registration, insurance, etc. Would having a throttle make it more difficult or impossible to register? Would I be able to use bike lanes?

Any info you guys can share would be much appreciated!

Basic specs of the bike:
Top speed 32kmh
Motor 500W
Pedal assist + Throttle

Shipping the bike with the rest of the household goods so everything going by boat. I would not think it is harder to ship than a car? But thanks for the thought, I will double check.

It does not have an EU type approval, but it is a European made bike and it has the same specs (except for top speed and throttle) than the rest of the bikes made by A2B over there. I presume type approval is not per item but rather per manufacturer/model?

Just received a reply from the shipping company and taking the bike is not a problem. Again, this is going on a container by ship. I am also contacting the manufacturers to see if a bike that is either identical or very similar in the US and EU has or can get type approval easily. I will post more in case others run into similar issues in future.

Thanks for all the help!
