Bum Hip

I'm grateful for this thread! I was born breech, with hip displaysia that wasn't discovered until I was a year old, had osteotemy surgery at a little over a year old, had a rare childhood disease called Legg Calve Perthes, which was not diagnosed until years later after the damage was done, had a slipped epyphisys at age 11, and then osteoarthritis as a young adult, I was in lots of pain until I developed ankylosing spondylitis - all in my left hip.

I don't have pain anymore, but my hip doesn't rotate, which makes it hard to ride a bike. I brought home my e-bike Thursday and have put over 10 miles on it, due to the Hase pendulum pedal, which lets my left leg chill out while my right leg does the work. I would not be able to do this without pedal assist and the throttle.
