the 48V might throw a 07 error with a 52v battery

I'm using 48v batteries. I guess there is no need to lower the current setting for both motors. Better keep it at 25 A and 30 A respectively?

the 750 is a BBSHD. if the 1000 motor fins are the same as the 750 you have 2 BBSHD motors. likely different firmware.

If everything is working well and physically they appear to be BBSHD, I think you have nothing to worry about.
Bafang seems to change things at random and without reason or explanation so it's hard to keep up sometimes.
Now tweak your settings and go enjoy your rides!

WOW!! A BBSHD (capable of 34MPH) cutback that far will last two lifetimes! Almost true...

There are many different approaches.
Mine is this...
Set each PAS (Motor) Speed % to different cadences that you need and/or are comfortable maintaining and the corresponding current to just enough to do so. Your road speed will depend on which gear you are in.
I use my gears pretty much the same as before installing the motor.. though the motor does alow you to cheat up a gear or two.

After my last heart attack I rode my BBSHD 7 speed in 3rd gear total throttle and beat on it. It winked back.
