Bafang ultra max

Hi everyone.

The is my first post’ and was hoping for some advise or guidance”
was intending to fit a bafang ultra max to my bike.
by cutting away my existing bottom bracket My son works in an engineering firm and says it’ll be no problem welding The fixing plate in place.
But Not to sure where The best place to by a motor a friend Had suggested Ali express or Ali baba
Any advise will be welcome..

If you are at all concerned about the smoothness of the controller you might talk to Pushkar at wattwagons and get one of the ultra motors with the innotrace controller

if I was going to buy a new ultra motor I would probably go that route, the controller is supposed to be much more refined than bafang stock one

Maybe I'm not as sensitive because my almost three year old Biktrix Ultra is as smooth as a babies' butt !
