Bafang throttle not cutting off

Hi,
I recently bought the 52v 1000w bafang mid mount motor.
I had it briefly installed and running fine but now, after a transplant into another frame, the throttle stays on and won't cut out when released. There is no throttle control, once it's on it stays on full. Same with pedal assist ..it will keep going until the ebrake sensor is activated.
I've tested it with another new display (750c), another cable and 2 different throttles, all known to be working .
Can anyone tell me if this points to a problem with the controller please or maybe suggest another fix?
Thanks for any advice
Mark

It sounds like there is a short of some kind - and anything is possible, so that short could be in the controller. Are you sure you wired it up properly when doing the transplant? You don't have a couple of leads swapped somewhere?

I'd also be curious about the controller settings. Maybe track down a set of the factory Bafang settings and make sure yours match.

you probably checked this already or it may not apply but i had one that was sticking on somewhat and realized when we swapped the handlebars the shop tightened down the twister too much and it was sticking somehow

check to make sure the grips are not catching on it and maybe try loosening the screw that tightens down the throttle...
hope that helps and it is a simple fix

Which brings up another idea. With the throttle "frozen"/motor running, unplug the cable to the throttle and see what happens. If the bike stops, you found your problem! If it continues on, the problem is elsewhere....
