We really can't say much of anything since we have no idea how that motor is programmed. Really, the 1-5 settings should be more powerful since they take a 20% bite of the 100% pie vs just over 11%. However PAS programming in the BBSxx family is neither intuitive or linear. Especially given the fact that sellers could go in and add their own flavors into the mix.

EDIT: I may be wrong about this but I think a 5-setting system uses levels 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 in the Assist table. So again... broader brush strokes could equal a higher threshold in each level?

@TampaJR you say you have the DPC18 that allows you to program 9 levels of assist. Thats not correct. What it does is let you access the 9 levels of assist that are present in the Assist table, vs. just using 5 of them (well... 6 as both 5 and 9 use Level 0 as well). Your display is just a window into a much larger world. See the article I posted above for the actual settings screens that your DPC18 is tapping into.
