Are ebikes becoming white goods?

There are so many models, so many brands.
They are all just superficial divergence from the basic tech, the new Cawinwoof has a 60v battery, but next week the Starmonica 70v is out and has two headlights.
An avalanche of stickered up generic frames with zero brand history, no gain or loss in their rise or downfall.
And all the iconic names slowly going under.
That's life I guess.

I'm sure Chris the legal UK e-bikes are allowed up to 48 V.
What you are describing is called "Chinese trash".
For some reason the UK market is more vulnerable to this disease than the EU.
