Anyone here running a Flat Bike kit?

Saw this video on YouTube and the stem kit would be perfect to help fit my X3 Pro in the trunk as the stock handlebar setup makes it a PITA

Just curious as to how it will hold up over time

I'm also a bit iffy on the removable pedals

I've had a few pedals snap off back when I used to ride track as a kid and it was always painful

On the other hand, the stock pedals have always felt small to me and I've been putting off getting larger pedals because I can't seem to find any that fold.

These removable pedals seem to fit the bill, but again I'd like to hear from anyone with first hand experience.

I made the video and can say all parts are rock solid and I have zero complaints. 100% recommend, but don't expect Red Bull downhill comp performance.

Thanks for the video and info

I would've asked on YouTube, but you have the comments turned off

I do a bit of trail riding, but no sweet jumps

BTW, what size of stem kit do I need?

Comments are turned off cuz i don't have time to monitor/reply. Its in the description of the video.

Thanks

Happen to have a pic of your bike folded in half along with the folded handle?

Fitment in the trunk of my minivan is pretty tight and I have to fold down the 3rd row seats due to current bar setup, which means my 2nd row seats can't slide all the way back due to the 3rd row headrests being in the way

I actually spend a bit of time in the 2nd row since I have recliners and a lot of free time at work lol, so for now I drop the entire 3rd row into the floor and just lay the bike sidways, but it tends to go sliding around back there, so I'd rather fit it snug behind the 3rd row in the drop well

I'd also like to retain full use of the 3rd row

In the back of my Honda CRV.

Nice

This is what mine is like currently.

Hoping it will fit with the 3rd row seatbacks upright so my 2nd row can slide all the way back

Kit arrived on Tuesday and I installed it right away

Here's a little unboxing/test ride video I threw together

Stem is solid and I like the slightly higher position

Folds away nicely and now I'm able to fit it in the back of my van without having to dro the 3rd row seatbacks

The larger pedals are also solid and grub screw spikes pretty much prevent all slippage
