Anyone have positive or negative experiences with the Kiox lock feature?

I am all for added security, but given how well the eBike Connect app seems to work I am a little nervous about trying to ride home uphill unassisted on a nearly 70 pound bike.

What are your concerns? I have the intuvia myself and heard there is an upgrade path to the Kiox.

It is unfair to question the Kiox itself when as far as I know IT is functioning just fine. If you look at the reviews of the eBike Connect app though, it has not been well received. It has some trouble tracking rides that I have seen in just three days of use. I believe that the most current version is a step back from a mediocre rating that it had prior to the update.

My concern is IF the app has anything to do with how locking works, then it may have issues with locking reliability.

I wouldn't have any reservations about upgrading to the Kiox.

I think this is really two part question. Is the connect software any good and also the phone it is running on. As I'm sure you know the phone you use with the app can really affect how the app performs.

From what I have read it's an option to turn it on or use it with locking. On my intuvia when I remove the display it lock the bike. I would think that the connect app would probably work simler. I wish I could be of more help but I don't have any direct experience with the it but I'm interested in the device myself.
