Anyone do electric scooters?

So my inner child is looking at escooters. Apollo City or Ghost, Emove Cruiser or a Emove RoadRunner. Mostly for friends when they come over so we can run into the city around 5 miles away. I'm leaning towards the RoadRunner for some reason over strictly stand up. But the stand up scooters are more portable.

5 miles is a long way on a stand up scooter IMO. I have a boosted rev that we use for fast local trips, either me and my four year olds standing in front of me or my 10 and 4 year old while I ride a bike alongside. i find them pretty unstable for long trips, but a ton of fun for shorter trips, in the 2-3 mile each way range tops.

I do. I like mixing up the commute with the scooter. Especially on hot days where even pedaling at maximum assist will result in a lot of sweat.

I really want the Road Runner but I’m really hesitant to buy from Voro since they have a ton of negative reviews.

I agree Watts. Someone who goes by Wrong Way? does a good Road Runner review. Then you have Fido (also from Voro) that can be easily modded to the moon! I want something that I can learn batteries, control systems and motors with.
