does anyone make a pretty good chain combination lock? all the ones i see are like 15$ and under and look easy easily defeated.

want combination lock because i lose keys like nobody's business.

chain because i hate wrastling w/ cables.

any suggestions?

I have a massive chain with a padlock that weighs 12 lbs if I am going to leave my bike for more than ten minutes. For quick trips to the liquor store I've been very happy with the OnGuard Mastiff Combo 8022. Lightweight and hangs on my handlebars. Easy to use and see combo system and it was cheap. Link FWIW, I got it much cheaper on eBay.

Howdy,

While attempting to get an education on bike locks for my e-bike I stumbled across a great Locksmith YouTuber...
and goes by "The Lock Picking Lawyer".

He's a highly skilled 'student' of locks and picking and is extremely talented.
Admittedly the average bike thief is usually a common crook (druggie) and has little to no lock picking skills, resorting to
brute force to compromise a lock...angle grinder, slide hammer etc. Nonetheless I find these videos and others he has interesting and educational

Here are a few of The Lock Picking Lawyers videos specific to bike security...Enjoy
