I purchased my Evelo Atlas about a couple years ago and it's been great. Mostly riding it on rough dirt roads and it's holding up perfectly.
I had a recent issue with the headlight, it stopped working. Seemed like it would be a simple fix but after trying the obvious things it still didn't work.
I contacted Evelo and they had me go through some trouble shooting. It was discovered the output for the headlight on the motor control board was at fault. The only solution for this is to replace the motor. --Evelo sent me a new Bafang M600 motor and the lock ring tool I needed to remove the old motor. And they also provided detailed, easy to follow instructions on the process.
I not infrequently hear of e-bike owners from other brands having all kinds of warranty and customer service issues and am so grateful I went with this company that seems to always be responsive and comes through on their 4 year warranty.
