Angry Acoustic Karens

I was riding my Riese and Muller Supercharger2 pedelec along a Lomita Drive, a road between Mill valley and Corte Madera, when this Karen was making gestures at me, angry, gesticulating, I ignored him listening to my music but did glance at the sign marking the bike path and sign said "no motorized vehicles". Brand new sign. Acoustic Karen was indignant at my presence. I smiled. I guess I wasn't supposed to be on that path.

Huh. It's a pedelec, no throttle? That's classic ebiking, Your Karen pal needs to read his rulebook, The sign needs to say no ebikes or be like this one,

Technically, he is correct - the mill valley - sausalito path prohibits class 3 ebikes.

Why they don’t make new signs more specific, i don’t know, and why he would care in this case, i don’t know either. I ride that path all the time on various bikes and it’s really the dogs you need to look out for :D

its not like you are riding a moped, early on the nuts and punks on surrons and ecycles gave the ebikes a bad name

the forest service around will not allow an ebike on a multi use trail, while ignoring the total destruction the trail bikes cause on mostly neglected top level roads( they call them trails and stopped doing any maintenance- believe it or not horses are allowed on hiking trails and you should see the destruction they bring- back in the day horses were not even allowed on the closed logging roads.
