Analog bicycle? Acoustic Bicycle??

I resisted for years, calling them push bikes and ebikes. The term push bike has been around for more than a hundred years, but people ask what a push bike is. In the last year I've taken to acoustic bike, not electronically amplified. Manufactures are using the term, it's too late.

I don't want to call ebikes powered bikes for two reasons. 1, all bicycles are powered and 2, powered sounds too much like a motorbike.

I won't give in so easily.

Let the terms analog and acoustic be stricken from every phone and tablet...
stricken from all pylons and obelisks, and websites.
stricken from every monument of Egypt.
Let the terms analog and acoustic be unheard and unspoken,
erased from the memory of men...
for all time.

Okay. Please remove yea from all those places too, because people mean yeah. Two entirely different words, with entirely different meanings. Add peddle, peddling and petal. Should be pedals, pedal pedaling. Unless you're a salesperson using a bike to peddle your flowers.

Pedal bike...ebike. 🤣
The term acoustic has to be the dumbest one of all. That's a guitar. I think some thought they were being cute with it. As in old wooden verses new modern electric.

Reminds me of the bumper sticker for wife's car..."My other car is a broom". 😁
Kind of on the dumb scale to say guitars are the only instruments that are acoustic;)

Misspelled and misused words that sound alike is another argument all together.

They're just bikes, and we're riders. it's just some of us are perhaps a little more thrifty in our efforts from time to time. I hate the term Acoustic, but am fine with Analog for some reason. But it bothers the heck out of me when someone refers to a big SUV as a Car. Go figure...
