@damage the weight of your Ebike, except getting it on and off your carrier is of little importance to your goal of getting in shape. Trust me when I say you will spend a small fortune if you start stripping and replacing parts for lighter ones - the higher speeds Ebikes move at create a lot more jarring on your body - front suspension is very helpful at reducing these stressors. If you’re determined to swap forks -check out Wren suspension. Light strong and very well tested. Best advice is get on your bike and ride. Take the weight off your body before you start stripping your bike. Otherwise you’ll be like the folks who undress before getting on a scale. Also your bike I assume is under warranty - let the place you bought it from do a complimentary check up.
