Adding a Watts Up Watt Meter?

to my Dillenger street legal bike kit.

Yes. You have to have a loop of wire, both the positive and the negative, between the battery and the motor. So if the power cable comes out of the battery, you have to extend it and put the watt meter in that loop, then run it to the motor. Or leave the meter by the battery, something like that. I have used the WU on three bikes.

There are cheap knock-offs of the WattsUp on Amazon. Luna Cycle has a version.
