2018 RadRover For Sale in Honolulu with Hollywood ebike rack for $1199

Let's address the elephants, yes elephants, in the room:
  • "Why are you selling your bike?" - In March, I got my motorcycle license and I won't have room for both
  • "Why should I pay $1199 for a used RadRover with 1932 miles when I can buy one new for $1499?" - Good point if you live on the mainland. However, Rad Power Bikes charges $400 to ship the bike to Hawaii bringing the total to $1899. On top of that, I'm including a Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Bike Rack ($440 on Amazon) that's rated for 2 bikes weighing 80 pounds each with tires up to 5 inches wide. Please note, the Hollywood rack will only fit 2-inch receivers.

This RadRover has been my daily commuter since last July and it's AWESOME! I swapped out the knobby Juggernaut tires for a pair of 30TPI Wire Bead Origin8 Supercells which offer a smooth, quiet ride. I added an accessory bar on the handlebars to hold additional gadgets like an included phone holder. The seat has been upgraded to a Cloud9 and the screaming RadRover graphics have been covered with a Carbon Fiber Stealth Graphic Kit from Hot Laps Graphics. The optional rear rack is included as is the Ibera triangle frame bag, which hides the battery. The bag is just slipped over the battery and cradle and can be easily removed if you don't want it. There are 2 usable pockets on the frame bag for holding small items.

The bike is in EXCELLENT condition and has been routinely serviced by Jay at Eki Cyclery on Dillingham Blvd (last service was 4/27/19). I've had ZERO issues with the bike's 750W Bafang geared rear hub motor or any of the electronics from Day 1. The bike has never been parked outside, dropped, or been ridden off pavement. The manual, charger, and tools provided by Rad are all included.

I've priced this combo to sell quickly so serious buyers only please. I might consider selling just the bike if you really don't need the rack. For a test ride, you'll need to bring a valid Hawaii State ID or Driver's License to the meet up. I would suggest conducting the test ride at a parking lot like Pearlridge Mall, Blaisdell Park or other off-street location in the Aiea/Pearl City area. I can meet Wednesday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. This will be a cash only sale.

Waaaaaaaaaah! ???????
I hope you will be able to enjoy ebiking again in the future! You must be so sad to part with your ebike, but I bet you'll have fun on that motorcycle, too!

Thanks. I haven't abandoned e-biking. Just don't have the space here in Honolulu for all the toys like I did back in NC. I'll continue to read the posts here and stay updated. The input I got here helped me make the decision to get the RadRover as my first ebike and I haven't been disappointed.
