I wanted a 500 watt battery for my XM700, but was reluctant
to spend $900+ for a battery. I also wanted a smoother
ride. So when the 2018 Powerfly 5 was introduced with the
wonderful slot in the downtube for the battery I found my
solution. I purchased the Powerfly 5 and now I have a
500 watt battery and an ebike that irons out the roads,
especially with Big Apple Schwalbe 28 x 2.35 tires.
I can use the 500 or 400 watt battery in either bike so I use
the 400 watt for shorter distances. Now depending on road
conditions and speed desired I choose which bike to ride.
