Oh, final comment for you… Is this an aftermarket battery, or is it a Juiced battery with modified innards? I’d be concerned that it will work properly with proprietary stuff on the bike.

There is no need to get a spare motor, my 2018 is still going strong after a few thousand miles. Well, it's not going right now as it needs brakes like many of my bikes. I'm probably going to gut it and use the forks and brakes on my 2022 model. The newer motor and controller (mostly the controller) is very nice on the newer models definitely more efficient when I compared the two. Still I would just use the bike until you can't anymore or decide to update to a different bike, or pass it on.
