The more I get back into the ebike world, I realize what I am looking for....throttle override. That is not easy to find. Pedego seems to be one of the only companies still over throttle overide.

It seems like the Twist & Go feature is disappearing. Is there a list of bikes with this feature?

I've been using the 280 cygolite. It's a great light. REI had the 360 on sale for $40 last weekend so I picked that up. Amazon has the 500 for $54. I love having a built in battery. For rear, also cygolite hotshot rear light.

I have the Thule T2 rack for my 2" Class III hitch. I believe the rack is rated for 160 lbs total. Cost $350 at REI on sale or $350 on Amazon anytime.

That's pretty awesome. I live in the nicer part of Los Angeles and bikes here still have a VERY HIGH theft rate, even in gated garages and chained up. Ridiculous.

Yeah, that 25 lbs lighter thing seems hyperbolic. They also mention other bikes cost eight grand. Is that the market they are really competing with? Both statements really turn me off from believing anything else they tout.

I like to know Court's thoughts on the bike and how it compares to others. Otherwise he can just list the specs in print and be done. I think Court's videos are great and will get better. After Court, there is huge drop off in quality video and written reviews on ebikes. I've never done these...

How about Schwable Fat Franks. Those are avail in 29" and you can get them Kevlar lined for extra protection.

Can I get some help in compiling a list of bikes that allow you to access throttle power in pedal assist mode? I notice that izip tends to have this feature. Does this add complexity and cost for the manufacturer or do some leave it off for safety reasons?
