Once disc brakes are incorrectly bedded in, it’s very hard to get them to not squeak. Probably have to change out the brake pads, get them properly adjusted, bed them properly, good to go. But if it’s just a little oil it n the pad, a little handheld blow torch can work.

The only issue is, folding bikes are very heavy due to the reinforcements needed. The Lectric XP is 80+Lbs once you have added even a couple of accessories. The Riese and Muller is 55lbs and that’s a premium bike. My 1100 Core5 is 48lbs but that’s because it doesn’t fold.

No one, in my experience, is going to ask you to open up your settings and verify you are limited to 20mph. As others have said, just use a lower PAS. You can change the settings though to only assistance up to 20mph. I actually changed mine to 50kph as that is the maximum allowed in the...
